Chic and thematic decor, Gorgeous breakfast presentation, Unique themed rooms
Parking can be a hassle during peak times!!! Some rooms are cramped and warm, possibly causing discomfort!!! Street noise may disrupt the sleep of light sleepers!!! Consider improving hot water availability in the mornings!!!

Gothic charm in every detail
Our stay at High Tor was nothing short of incredible! The themed decor added a unique touch, and the breakfast was among the best we've experienced. John and Lisa were warm hosts, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We loved exploring the artistic nuances of the guesthouse, finding something new with every glance.
The walk into Whitby’s town center was a bit hilly, which might be challenging for those with mobility concerns. this minor inconvenience did not detract from our overall experience at the guesthouse.

Impressive decor and stellar breakfast
Just had a fantastic stay, with rooms that are not only clean but also filled with stylish touches like movie posters that create a fun vibe. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a hearty full Yorkshire option that set us up for the day. Gary and Sue were incredibly welcoming, always ready with advice and local tips. The only minor thing was that parking could be a bit tricky if you arrive late, despite having a parking permit.
